PEDIATRIC EYECARE

The American Optometric Association recommends the following schedule for your child’s eye care, even if no symptoms are present:

  • 6-12 months of age
  • 3 years old
  • 5 years old or before starting school

Vision plays a major role in infant development, so it is critical to identify children experiencing significant eye and vision problems at an early age.

Because we are dedicated to providing your family with the best care possible, Uptown Family Vision is proud to participate as volunteers in InfantSEE®, a national public health program that provides eye assessments at no charge to children between 6 and 12 months of age.
